Effective handling of both live and taped television interviews is crucial. A booker will usually review prior interviews before making a decision to book a guest. A solid TV track record may lead to additional interviews whereas a poor interview may result in missed opportunities. Television media training will cover the following:

• Live interview preparation to simulate interview scenarios with a live host.
• Camera only interview preparation to simulate an interview done via satellite hook up when a guest cannot see the host.

• Message consistency
• Body language,
• Eye contact,
• Sound bites,
• Hostile or uninterested host
